Your quiet daily companion
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Vioday is designed to keep your personal information private. Most of your data never leaves your device, and we do not require an account.
Your journal entries, "today's win" and mood notes, closet photos, saved events, interests, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this content on our servers.
With your permission, Vioday reads your calendar events to show them alongside your daily briefing. Calendar data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
With your permission, Vioday uses your approximate location only to look up local weather. It is used at the moment of the request and is not stored or shared beyond fetching the forecast.
Closet photos you add are stored locally on your device. If you use the outfit features, the relevant image is sent for AI analysis (see below) to identify clothing, and is not retained by us afterward.
When you use AI-powered features (daily notes, chat, outfit and meal suggestions), the necessary text or image is sent through our secure server to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. This content is used only to produce your result, is not used to train models, and is not stored by us beyond processing the request.
The news feature fetches recent headlines based on the interests you choose, via the NewsData.io service. Your interests are sent only to retrieve relevant articles.
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your content to build advertising profiles.
Vioday is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because your data is stored on your device, deleting the app removes that data. You can also clear items within the app at any time.
